NADIR (NILU's Atmospheric Database for Interactive Retrieval) is a data and coordination centre that serves European research on stratospheric ozone.

Data from field experiments are stored in a central computer and all participants in the projects can access the data. In addition to the experimental data there are also special data products available from the European Centre for Medium range Weather forecasts (ECMWF).

Users can log on the central computer, zardoz, and extract data and make graphical presentations.

NADIR was built for the European Arctic Stratosperic Ozone Experiment (EASOE) in 1991-92. Since then is has been used as data centre for the SESAME campaign in 1993-95, the THESEO campaign in 1997-99, the THESEO 2000 in 1999-2000, and the VINTERSOL campaign in 2002-2004. Currently, NADIR is the central archive for these campaigns and many other individual projects.
